Caring for Your Stomach, Liver & Digestive Health
The gastrointestinal (GI) system includes your stomach, intestines, liver, and other parts that help digest food. If something goes wrong, it can cause pain, discomfort, or other health issues. At our clinic, we treat many stomach and digestive problems with care, tests, and the right medicines.
Acid Peptic Disease, Gastritis & Ulcers
These problems are caused by too much acid in the stomach.
Gastritis is swelling in the stomach lining.
Peptic ulcers are small sores in the stomach or upper part of the intestine.
Symptoms: Burning in the stomach, pain after eating, nausea.
Treatment: Antacids, diet changes, and stress control.
Liver Diseases (Hepatitis, Fatty Liver, Cirrhosis)
The liver helps in digestion and cleans your blood.
Hepatitis is liver swelling caused by viruses.
Fatty liver happens when fat builds up in liver cells.
Cirrhosis is a late-stage liver damage where healthy tissue is replaced with scar tissue.
Symptoms: Yellow eyes/skin (jaundice), tiredness, swelling, or pain in the right upper belly.
Treatment: Based on cause—can include medicines, lifestyle changes, or special care for long-term liver damage.
Pancreatitis (Acute & Chronic)
Pancreatitis is swelling of the pancreas, which helps in digestion and blood sugar control.
Acute means sudden and short-term.
Chronic means long-term damage.
Symptoms: Severe stomach pain, vomiting, and fever.
Treatment: Hospital care, IV fluids, and avoiding alcohol/fatty food.
IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) & Colitis
IBS is a long-term problem with stomach pain, gas, bloating, and changes in bowel habits (diarrhea or constipation).
Colitis means swelling of the large intestine.
Symptoms: Stomach cramps, urgent need to use the toilet, mucus in stools.
Treatment: Diet control, stress management, and medicines.
Jaundice, Diarrhea & Hemorrhoids
Jaundice is when the skin and eyes turn yellow due to liver or bile duct problems.
Diarrhea is passing loose stools often—caused by infections, food issues, or gut diseases.
Hemorrhoids (Piles) are swollen veins in the anus or rectum, causing pain and bleeding.
Treatment: Depends on the cause—may include fluids, diet changes, medicines, or minor procedures.
